On the subjects of contracts, does anyone know what’s happened to @AZ Gull?

Miss his useful contributions.

six feet beneath the moon...
Interesting. doesn't this mean that enciso will eventually count as homegrown, with him being 18 now, 19 in january, 20 next season, and 21 in his third season?

Perhaps time for a January squad/transfers thread already. But here's the squad with the addition of our new 17 year old Argentinian wonderkid.

There is a vague, unsubstantiated rumour of Undav to Burnley (loan) in January.

Kompany knows him from managing in Belgium of course.

Yep. Very vague . Apart from a couple of people mentioning it on here. I've not seen this anywhere. Might well have started on here !

If we have decided already that Undav isn't going to make the grade then the most obvious place for a loan is USG, they play Champions League football and are competing at the top of the league

Not possible sadly due to the 8-loan maximum abroad rule.

I wonder if Lallana will retire at the end of this season and take a coaching role...

Given he’s started every (?) game under RDZ why would he retire at the age of 34?

Because he'll be 35 and out of contract? He's started 3 of the 6. He clearly has an interest in coaching. Not suggesting he will, but you surely can see reasons why he might?

I thought we had an extra year. Hope he stays on as this squad lacks leaders

We bought im from USG didn't we? If he's going to go on loan hopefully it'll be to get him prem league ready so going back to where we got him from wouldn't be of much help. I'd rather the Burnley loan mentioned above or another championship club. Get him used to the speed and physicality of English football.

I’m going to say yes.
Harsh, given how many goals he scored for USG last year and the only game he's played in (for any significant period) he scored against FGR. He clearly has something about him but adapting to the PL is notoriously hard

Same as Ali J & Locadia then. Like I’ve always said I’m a bit uncomfortable about us signing USG players especially without seemingly much competition.

To use a Chelsea argument analogy - how many strikers are there in the world and why did we sign one from our chairman’s other club?
