Caught myself really missing Mwepus flair and smile.

I miss Burn, Duffy, Maupay and Mwepu more than Biss and Cucurella really. Strange characters with strange playing styles, always able to surprise us in one direction or another.

Club needs to bring in some weirdness. Any thoughts about who could be brought in to fill the interesting-character-quota?

De Zerbi on the touchline when we start winning games will provide plenty of “interesting” viewing I think

Paddy McCourt was probably the weirdest player of the Amex era.

Do I miss him ?

Not a bit
He had the additional quality of being deeply crap, though.

Alright. Disagree.

Thought it was a lovely strange lot. 202 cm LWB doing marauding runs, a possessed Frenchman chasing balls like some rabid dog, the bumblebee that is Duffy, the Mwepurian ability to do things we've barely seen on a pitch for good and bad, while offering a - in modern football - quite rare smile.

Yep we can disagree nothing wrong with that….but could you explain the bumblebee bit I’m intrigued
