Reportedly one of 32 pubs nationwide.

Is that the one in George Street, Hove?

Might be a bargain for someone.

The Golden Lion Group?

What's happening to Big Hilda, very worrying

The Golden Lion Group?

I know a couple of people that frequent but personally the place is a dump!

I knew of a Spoons that was busy but sold off. A small company purchased it and kept it similar to the previous owners with many thinking that the small company was part of Spoons. Anyway, weeks after sell off Spoons opened a new pub just a few streets away. The former Spoons lasted around 6 months before it was shut down. That was 5 years ago and the pub is now a supermarket.

A pub soundtracked by old men coughing. The classic terrible pub near a betting shop.

A thoroughly depressing experience going in there.

Went there briefly on new years eve once, probably the most depressing place I've been on that date, nothing says bringing in the new year like rolling bbc news.

The Argus report says there are four Spoons in B&H. I know the one in West St but where are the other two?

George Street, West Street, North Street and Marina are the four

The George Street one was undoubtedly the worst of the four but always seemed packed so I am surprised it's closing

Wasn’t the one in Hove previously a supermarket??
