Villa doing really well against City. Ming's has been impeccable against Haaland, think there could be a big shock on the cards.

Yep sadly Villa matching City who look very average so far

Whatever the result, it’s only taken up to round 6 of EPL fixtures for the traditional Big 6 to establish themselves at the top of the table.

Just shows you, it’s all about money; paying the biggest transfer fees and signing the most expensive players.

Was in the same side as Ostigard when we scouted him

I'm pretty sure he wasn't under the radar. The Forest Green manager said in an interview the other day that he'd recommended him to scouts in England when he was 15. Solskjaer's assistant at Molde, now the Man U u23 manager, said he was the "‘best No 9 I’ve ever seen, by a mile.’

Sadly? Why would anyone want city to just run away with the league again!? I'm sure they will do but any dropped points make it slightly more interesting

Gerrard and Villa - me no like

I am a bit meh about City

I'd certainly classify the Newcastle v Palace one as such.

Mitchell pushed Willock in the back causing him to collide with Guaita, before heading the ball into his own goal.

The goal was VARed out because of the supposed foul by WIllock on Guaita, but if Mitchell hadn't put the ball in, it was the sort of thing you could see resulting in a penalty for Newcastle. It didn't look like the on field referee viewed the best angle of the incident which may have influenced him reaching the conclusion he did.

Also West Ham disallowed goal. Keeper just palmed it to West Ham player. Player had no chance of avoiding keeper. Ref was nearby and no need for VAR to be involved. Refs should be strong enough to reply to VAR that no need to look again as had a good view

this is a bit tongue in cheek, and a vast generalisation- but that describes what a lot of people think about the USA generally-megolomania coupled with lack of self awareness

One of the best jokes I ever saw live was at a small comedy show in Tun Wells. Picture the audience, mainly middle class and liberal, the comedian jumps up on stage and shouts “hands up who hates Americans?”. Everyone cheers and hollers. Of course they do. He follows this quickly with “Hands up who hates black Americans?”. Cue sheepish laughter and a lot of not knowing what to do. Brilliant stuff.

Whatever the final score Gerrard surely has a reprieve? Not being over run by City is a big plus for any team.

Shit is all I have to say :lolol:

I think Villa have handled Haaland quite well. The lad doesn't get many touches and if you can match up with him physically as Mings has done then you have a chance.

Apparently Cucurella isn’t fit to lace Chilwells boots heard that on the radio today.

I assume they bought Cucu knowing that Alonso wanted to leave. I would say, Chilwell, when fit, is better than Cucu at the moment...but Tuchel will probably rotate them - great competition!

Villa fans aggrieved by the Coutinho non-goal even though if the ref didn’t blow his whistle, the City player chasing him would’ve likely got a block in and the keeper would’ve made a proper attempt at saving the shot. Not to mention I’m pretty sure it deflected off Stones on the way in, who part his arm up to his head to stop the ball. He would’ve put his head in the way of it without a whistle.
