Retired from football today, a magnificent servant for club and country and part of the side who ended 56 years of hurt and bought England their first major title since 1966. The football family will be much poorer for her retirement but she leaves it as an England legend.

No need to mock, crodonilson. ???

What do you expect her to do, grow a pair of bollocks and get picked by Southgate?

A fantastic career capped off by winning the Euros.

After all the talk of how the womens Euros was very sporting and being played without the niggle etc you find in the mens game she went and did this in the final proving that if Germany are the opponents then you can forget about playing nice.

I thought it was a spelling mistake and a thread on American jazz poet, Gil Scott-Heron

His dad played for Celtic.

Not a lot of people know that ???

I’ve no idea what day it is any more to be honest, H. I still haven’t recovered from that highly irritating ‘It’s Coming Home’ conga the ladies did when invading that Sarina Wiegman press conference. It’s burned on my frickin’ amygdala, and not in a good way.

That was cringe making to watch.

Just like White, she is a bit past her peak... but I think England could miss their experience in the World Cup next year. Need that grit and experience to deal with US and Canada.
