If the main stream media are reporting that Spurs are applying for the postponement it will be a done deal.

There is no way that the Premier League would make a team play with the current advice of everyone remaining cautious.

Not even sure we'd object given our injury list. It'll be off.

This is going to cause havoc with my Fantasy League team. They don't think about that do they!?

What happens with their game Tuesday then? As surely the players will still need to isolate given the rules?

If as expected plan B gets the go ahead today then the idea of a squad rife with Covid travelling to fulfil a PL fixture would not play well in the media so will be postponed by the PL on appeal from Spurs

Would be very surprised if this match goes ahead as planned!

Think we will all have a day off on Sunday.

They will have a horrific backlog as they will surely have to have a few matches postponed.

Hopefully our replayed game will be right in the middle of this horrific backlog, and after we've got our full complement back fit

Dont think they any choice but to play-- as it affects 3 league games, there backlog would be horrific

I don’t think there is any chance of the game going ahead on Sunday.

Spurs will just have to fit in the cancelled fixtures midweek. They are not going to have to worry about the Uefa cup once they have been knocked out tomorrow.

I have been assured they will not travel to the Amex ,and if they do, which they won't, they will comply with all COVID rules which won't be an issue as they won't travel but if they do travel, they will be within the rules and it won't be questioned as it is retrospective but I have been assured they won't travel so it won't be an issue when they do travel and stick to the rules in place at the time.

With the higher transmissible nature of this new variant I expect our game on Sunday will be the first of many games called off over the next month or so. I also fear that games will move to being played without fans in the ground.

Smells of the Arsenal game with the original covid outbreak all over again...

Brighton factually.....

This is why teams have large squads, they could field a team, they won't be sending players or staff with covid so no issue not playing well with the media, If we had "cough" six to eight players out through injury we would be expected to play the match, I don't see the difference....

Big six favouritism again

Boooooooooooooooooooooo
