Klopp saying Mwepu's goal was a fluke.

Mishit cross apparently

Yeah I saw that......... have some humility for goodness sake!!! If it was Mo or Sadio I am certain it would have been a great goal

I came across this from a Liverpool fan on the BBC Have Your Say Comments:

LFC fan here. Brighton were good value. Proper team coming to Anfield and showing the fight and creativity we were missing second half. We were not at our best but that is partly because they were brave and didn't give us the time on the ball we really seemed to need today. All this after going two down. I think they were our toughest opponents so far this season. Tip of the cap, we'll deserved.

I said we'd win 2-1, I would of taken 2-2 before the game. Happy with the result. Only disappointment was the period from their first goal to ours.

Let's be fair - we were playing Liverpool, at Anfield, off the back of their 5-0 smashing of United. Their tails were always going to be up. The fact we grew into the game so well and ended up unlucky not to have won it is hugely impressive from Potter and the lads.

As an aside, how shyte were the scousers?! Sounded a shocking atmosphere from them. Didn't get behind them at all as the game turned in our favour either.
The Famous Anfield Atmosphere is just like most other grounds it turns out, unless it's v the big boys or a big champs league night. Who knew?

I'm increasingly proud tbh, without wishing to go overboard or analyse every kick etc... I'm just proud of the team, proud of the performance and stunned frankly that we not only came back from 2-0 down at Anfield but could have won it too.

Make no mistake, it's a great time (maybe it'll be our best) to be a supporter of our wonderful (little) club.

Brilliant.

Well, stop bouncing immediately! You should know by now what happens when we're in a cracking bit of form and then have an 'easy' match against a bunch of no hopers at The Amex (and 'twas always the same at Withdean and the Goldstone too!)
boo

(You’re right of course)

Did we do it in the FA cup in 1991?

I fell over a few seats when Small scored but Byrne’s equaliser 2 minutes later was plastic bucket seat 6 pint mayhem.
Wish I’d been there today.
Phil Tufnell continued the underdog theme 6 months later with 6-25 first innings against the mighty West Indies. Great year.
