Not sure when/how they went but I do know that my grandad, dad and uncle all worked there in the early 80's.
I used to walk from the Seven Dials to pick up slices of strawberry cheesecake from Grubbs for the other half back in 1986 , if they took over the premises from Zetlands in the early 1980's then the timeline is correct.
The Luftwaffe took it out.

Zetlands shop was just by Vokins/East Street junction down from the Sussex(?) - they used to sell the most amazing steak & kidney pies - absolutely to die for. They did an individual pie or a family pie that greedy bastards like me could wolf down in a single sitting after a few pints, and french style baguettes and poppy seed loaves before they became common-place (yeah - I realise younger posters won't know that baguettes in England didn't get "invented" until the seventies and were probably only popularised with the explosion of supermarket in-store bakeries in the nineties).
