how did this come together? why do you dislike palarse and they dislike you?

just wonder how your rivalry developed, as palarse got also more local rivalries with millwall and charlton. does anyone know when and how it started?

with us and swansea, its a south-wales affair, not just in football but between the 2 cities in general. bristol city is a different matter, as we played them a lot in the past and they are a very close to us. funny enough not so much with bristol rovers, btw. also cheltenham and hereford are not real local rivals for us, but newport county always was (well, still is).

it goes back as long as there had been sheep worrying in the Welsh mountains

ie a very long time

( 1975 was when I first noticed it)

Some people seem to think our real rivals should be Orient:rolleyes:

I'm sure we will and it will be deja vu with a 1 - 0 at Shithurst
Maybe we`ll get you in the Carling Cup and you could call it a massive cup upset as the major underdogs. :lolol: :lolol:
