Whilst we await the new signings and a decent performance from the team, what is the feeling out there on McGhee and the squad?
Has the same tight knit capable squad now gone bad?
What happened to our winning stride in the weeks from Coppell leaving, having no manager and then McGhee arriving?
Is promotion odds on for us still or is there now a lingering doubt?
Is there still a buzz in the dressing room?

I'm waiting to see how things go over the next 5 games and of course after 5 wins I''ll be a very happy man, but until then, I guess like every change of manager or form we've endured, I feel slightly cautious about my earlier optimism.

i think mcghee has only now just had time to evaluate the squard. it will be intressting to see who he brings in, i think we are just going through a bad patch and we will sort it out hopefully saturday will be the turning point in our season.

I can't see us being a bad team 'overnight' as it were.
Mr McGhee has a track record and I don't think he'll take any prisoners. I'm sure his ethic and the players' pride will get them back on track before long - Saturday, hopefully.

I'm inclined to revisit this thread in light of today's result.

Can't see any blame resting at McGhee's door. There's a lot of players out there who look unhappy, but he's a decent boss with a track record so they need to shape up or shove off.

Can't see there is a lot we can do as don't see many players arriving,so we will just have to get used to it and suffer a while longer.:lolol:

We've got 1 or 2 Prima Donnas in the side who know they'll get a game no matter what.

Today was pathetic, the manager needs to get these players sorted out now.

Stand up Mayo and Carpenter.:censored:

The defending in the first half was absolutely shocking. So many times under previous managers we've not played particularly well, but we've at least been solid and hard to break down. The first goal came from one of our own bloody free-kicks, the second was from a similar break that was initially broken up, but then the guy had the freedom of the 6 yard box to head it home, and the third was a soft far-post header.

Given time I think McGhee will turn things round, but at ther moment we look a shadow of the team we were 6 weeks ago. Same players, just can't believe how they are performing right now.
