Wife has received notification that her appeal was rejected on the grounds that to take advantage of the free blue badge hour she should have pressed a yellow button before inserting any money. I didnt see any notification of a yellow button and looking at the sign on line cannot see any notice to that affect. They have given us a number to appeal to POPLA so are going to go down that route.

The company said that there is another appeal other than POPLA but they neither subscribe to or accept them.

Three days after I happened to mention that I dealt with my own PCN notices, you are still upset about it ?

Oh well, I guess it takes all sorts

I have always appealled any I or any of the family get and have won every time so will continue and fight this one for my wife.

Advice please from the experts here. Parked on the seafront today, used the paybyphone app as I've done many times and returned to find a PCN from the council. On checking it seems I entered (months ago) the wrong registration for the car - I used a I instead of a 1. Any thoughts on grounds for appeal - to a reasonable person it seems an honest mistake and I've evidence I paid for parking in this car at that location but I'm not always sure common sense prevails in these matters.

I appealed and the PCN was cancelled.

BG - responding here to your PM for everyone's benefit. Premier Parking, as mentioned earlier in the thread, belong to the IPC not the BPA and that is why you can't use POPLA. You've appealed to the parking company and surprise surprise - it wasn't upheld ! There is no point appealing to the IPC - it's a kangaroo court. You now need to sit tight and see what happens. You'll probably get some rather nasty letters threatening the world coming to an end and that they will kidnap Ben. These can be ignored. The only thing to act on is a Letter Before Claim ( you can tell it is real if they give you 30 days to respond ).
