I hope he gets some minutes soon as he seems promising from what I have read. Caicedo should have some rest. Maybe against Grimsby Town we can see him play?

If Brighton are comfortably leading with some time to go, I imagine it is isnt impossible.

Other than two friendlies with Sweden B in January, he has not played a game since the Swedish league ended in the beginning of November. He must be quite from anything even resembling match fitness.

Nah, we're not a charity, he's come from a farmers league so put him into the U21s. We've got a decent chance of getting to the FA Cup final.
You're right, we're not a charity. That said, I'd like to see Caicedo having the best chance of playing as many minutes in the PL and, potentially, in a FA Cup semi-final. Given he's now got eight yellows, with the cut-off some way away, I'd rather he was rested tomorrow or at least starts on the bench. Gilmour likeliest replacement.

FA Cup yellows don’t count towards the Premier League

Ray Winstone as Dick Knight?
Nah. Brian Cox, innit.

Oh. Pretty sure that PL suspensions also cover the FA Cup -- wasn't Casemiro suspended from a FA Cup game as part of a three game suspension?
A suspension for getting a red card covers all first team games.

Suspensions for yellow cards are competition specific. If Caicedo is booked in against Grimsby he’d be suspended from the semi final as two yellow cards in the FA Cup leads to a one game ban. Cards are wiped after the QF matches so no player would miss the final under yellow card totting up rules if they got booked in the semi final.

Lewis Dun and Denis Undav are also on 1 yellow card in the FA Cup.

Incorrect.

All bookings are wiped when clubs reach the quarter finals. No player can miss the final from this stage onwards due to picking up consecutive yellow cards either.

My understanding of yellow card rules for the FA Cup is you have to have consecutive yellow cards to miss a match which would mean just Undav is in danger of missing the semi final with a booking against Grimsby

Not according to this. The cut off point is after the QF.

The rules are the same as the League Cup and Harry Maguire missed the first leg of Man Utd semi final against Forest through suspension.

Pleased to see him today, thought he did some nice, clever stuff. It'll be hard finding any minutes for him this season but based on the little we saw today, he might not go out on loan next year, but bit early to contemplate about that.

Bloke clearly has that AIK attitude - confidence, work rate, desire to impress. Difference compared to his old AIK mates is that he seems to be able to play football.
