Wycombe 1-2 Wednesday (HT)

and quite an entertaining game.

I fancy Wycombe scoring in the second and sharing the points.

It was Geary who was sent off, not Owusu! The Sheffield Wednesdaty support is fantastic - I love their band. I've had a soft spot for them ever since the FA cup Semi Final in 1983 - their fans were brilliant that day too, even though they lost! They don't belong in the Second Division - I don't mind them going up as long as we do too!

Ex Sheff Wed fan (now Albion) just told off !! My husband gave me duff information, he was watching on Sky too.

I went with him to Hillsborough when they were still in the Prem and the band is awesome.

They took 1700 to Wycombe tonight which is great.

I can understand some might think that but as far as I'm concerned it creates a brilliant atmosphere. Same with the Dutch band - I've been to England matches against Holland and the atmosphere they generate is terrific.

I feel the same way Fran. When standing in the Kop and the band is playing it helps the singing no end.

Listening to another fans band can sound annoying because all you can really pick up on is the drum but when you are in the same stand the music boosts everything.

Good result for Wednesday that puts them level on points with us. But still early days.

Wycombe were very unlucky. Shame about the first 10 mins really!

I cannot understand how the ref didn't give them a penalty when there was a blatant handball right in front of him

Er....refs have something of a habit of missing blatant handballs at Wycombe, I recall.....

I thought their keeper looked good, nothing else suggested they had the beating of us though !!

I liked their away kit (Weds) although it looked more beige than white

Sorry, a moment of being girly there :)

yet again radio 5 suffered from trying to run a phone in during a football match.

all i heard was jonathan pearce (fat fool) waffling on about how "Twat from Crawley wants to know how Chelsea are going to do this season"|, Barry Fry tipping very team in division 2 for promotion, and sone cretin with ar oving mike getting drwoned out by the feckin dull band.

and in the backgound was a football match:censored: :censored:

if they are one of the favourites for this division, we have nothing to worry about, I thought wednesday were rubbish, Wycombe out played them the whole game!

Bit worrying about that bloke with the long throw (Harris for wycombe!!) he was throwing from the halfway line into the box!!!!
