Would you sacrifice your job for Falmer?

Can always get another job, but there is only one option for a new ground and that is Falmer. The missies might not like it and would not talk to me for a while but, yes i would be happy to lose my job to secure the long term future of the club.

I used to have a job that included responsibility for preparing transport advice to councillors on Albion planning applications.

When Bellotti put in the application for Toads Hole Valley, it was easy. "The football club haven't got a clue what they're doing" was the general drift.

When the Falmer application went in, it was still fairly easy. "The football club have commissioned independent consultants to prepare a detailed transport plan that deals with all of the important issues; I see no transport reason to object".

Now I'm no longer working for the council, I feel much freer to say what I think about the non-transport aspects. "Sod the bats. We need a stadium".

Bollocks. Voted 'yes', then thought about it for a minute and decided no.

If you were made redundant you have to ask whether anyone at the club would give up their job so you could get yours back.
