Southampton seagull
Well would they?
Why not? In those days, they weren't in it for the money but because they loved the game, were good at it and played more cleanly. None of this tugging of shirts, tripping people up and playing dead on the pitch to waste time or to have a lickle snooze.
With our homer Ref last Saturday I'm sure El abd could have done this and got away with it.Yeah, not the same these days. Back then if a kid was mouthing off you could just give him a good old clip 'round the ear and all would be settled. It's political correctness gone mad!
