Some of them are dead too and most of them would be shit these days even if they weren't dead. I'd still have Moore ahead of El-abd though. Just.

Why not? In those days, they weren't in it for the money but because they loved the game, were good at it and played more cleanly. None of this tugging of shirts, tripping people up and playing dead on the pitch to waste time or to have a lickle snooze.

Yeah, not the same these days. Back then if a kid was mouthing off you could just give him a good old clip 'round the ear and all would be settled. It's political correctness gone mad!
