Anyone play this? Bring in the profession and a love of travelling, I like to challenge myself every morning. Post your scores here - just finding the country , not the other rounds afterwards

The bloody Cayman Islands came up the other day. Virtually impossible to get. Also thr pacific islands such as Niue and Micronesia very tricky too

I did it for ages but gave up when I got 100 in a row first guess

...But I can now recognise Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

(Probably have an unfair advantage here - I played this for a few years and have a quite good visual memory - these Countries do get repeated at some point.)

The only clues are the distances if you don’t get it right straight away.

My advice would be to enter a country (any country that’s fairly central eg Turkey ) then go from there. To give you an idea - Turkey is 8,615 km from NYC, 13,390km from Adelaide and 3,780 km from London.

Also shapes help - small very rounded, smooth shapes tend to be islands in the South Pacific or Indian ocean with low sandy coastlines. Very jagged outlines all round tend to be rocky islands. The Continent of Africa has a lot of politically drawn boundaries with flat topography so you get a lot of countries that have straight lines in their border.
