You know it's nearly Xmas when the World Darts and I'm a Celebrity start. Love it.

Think I'd go for a semi-final line-up of Taylor, Hamilton, Van Gerwen and Lewis from that draw. Van Gerwen beat Taylor last night and wouldn't be surprised if he managed it again at the Ally Pally next month. Can never ever write Phil Taylor off though.

Van Gerwin, Lewis, Anderson, Barny, Wade all in the bottom half of the draw. Taylor looks to have a bye all the way to the final. The worst he can come up against in the semis is Hamilton or Whitlock. But then of course sport is not always that predictable, although in this case it would take a brave man to bet against Taylor not getting to another final with minimal fuss.....Van Gerwin on the other hand could have to defeat Anderson-Barny-Lewis/Wade in that order to get to the final.

Am going to Day 1 - hoping to see something other than just qualifiers. But to be honest, having never been before and watched from afar, I cannot wait to simply sample the atmosphere.
