well another tough group saw Chinese and Mexican make it to the QF stage, now its the final group stage...

Group D - French, Thai, German, American

MASSIVE derby in the French German clash. Sausages and snails do battle. Not literally, that would be hideous. Then there's the Americans, real heavyweights and no mistake. But who would bet against Thai? Coriander go if you think your hard enough.
Sorry.

VOTE!

What is the status of pizza and hamburgers? Are they American or Italian/German respectively?

This really is a group of death so I do need an answer.

every group is a group of death in this tournament

i'm sorry i'm putting my foot down on the pizza front, but at the end of the day, just go with your gut feeling as to a nations food.

This is a really hard one.

French cuisine is a classic, great performances over the last few years, more Michelin stars than any other country.

But if you are a veggy you're f***ed. I can only take a limited amount of salad I can stomach.

When I go to France I focus on their Arab places. So its not French for me

???

Thai food in England, its great!

In Thailand, well, I ate like their King. I once had a green curry which comprised off green chilli's in a green souce.
Wicked.:flameboun .

Its Thai for me. And their waitresses were....:p

Voted Thai based on some of the fine stuff I tasted in Bangkok and, especially, Eastern Thailand.

French cuisine could suffer a backlash because of Zidane I reckon.

Surely German can't be dismissed too readily with their bratwurst and the Wiener Schnitzel from Anschluss partners Austria.

US food is too full of steroids for me.

Thai way out in front but I actually like French and German just as much. This really is a tough choice.

There is no such thing as American food. Having lived there I can honestly say that all they do is nick everybody else's cuisine and f*** it up. I couldn't wait to get back and have tasty food again

American is just larded up bastardisations of everyone elses food . ..tasty though

Thai is great

but for sheer variety and quality French wins everyday :clap2:

and when you add wine . . . .say no more :drink:
