Terry Wogan has responded to complaints about a protruding bulge in his trousers that could be witnessed while he was presenting Points Of View.

The DJ talked about the incident on his Radio 2 show, commenting: "Everybody's an expert - you can't appear on television without a crowd of idiots telling you you look like something the cat dragged in."

Wogan's protrusion prompted a selection of viewers to complain on BBC messageboards after the programme was screened.

Wogan insisted on his radio show that the trousers he wore were his own.

Some viewers have jumped to the presenter's defence, with one commenting: "I think the cameraman was taking the proverbial.

"Terry isn't usually framed that way. He probably thought it was the usual waist-up shot and wasn't giving a thought to the lunchbox."

I can't imagine what sort of people would actually go to the effort of complaining about it though??

You're thinking more along the lines of a letter of congratulations, Edna ?

:lolol:

It was more the thought that there are people out there for whom the sight of Terry Wogan with a semi is so utterly distressing, such a life-changing event, that they feel the need to go to the trouble of ringing the BBC.

Plenty of time on their hands, I guess.

Probably Terry's first stiffy for a while. Was Mrs Wogan backstage ?

Plenty of times in his hand I reckon.
