I am currently sitting in Withdean after just driving passed the stadium. Thought you would all like to know there are numerous fire engines, fire chief cars and police cars. Also police incident investigation vans everywhere. Couldn't quite work out what had gone wrong but it looked serious. Anyone else seen or heard anything about it?

Standing in the way of control
It's a preparatory exercise for the first friendly at Falmer, which will be against Arson-al. Or the Republic of Fireland. Or Burningham City. Or Burnley. Or Blaze and Yeading.

Are you sure it's Withdean, and not FLAMER?

My suspicion is that FLAME haired Port Vale skipper Tommy Fraser has stepped up his anti-Albion vendetta, from the chair-throwing stage...

Don't know how serious the incident is but it seems to have sparked a flare bit of interest!

Sorry I haven't been able to squeeze a pun in here but it's an emergency services training exercise.

No doubt certain residents of Withdean have their pens at the ready, complaining about the additional commotion/traffic/oxygen consumption in the area.
