Got a Devolo wireless router that bounces my wireless signal from down by my front door up to the bedroom, but there is no password.

Anyone know how to set up a password for the router? Have googled it before you suggest that, and can't really find anything specific to Devolo.

Many thanks.

Usually you will a number on the back of the router...it might not work, not familiar with Devolo...but nothing lost by trying.

No, no, there is NO password. That's the problem. I want to put one on it so I can stop anyone within range nicking my wireless, as its been running particularly slowly of late.

I dont have a Develo network but a quick Google threw up that a password can be set using the Develo configuration wizard "dLAN Cockpit" which can be downloaded from the Develo website. The factory set password for a dLAN 200 AV wireless router is "HomePlugAV"
