No I won't be having a party .

I have been running an evaluation copy of Windows 7 for the last month or so , though , and I have to say its the dogs bollox .

But before i get shot down , I've never owned/used a Mac , so can only compare it with previous Windows .

It is the most embarrassing thing on earth. If I was working on the Windows 7 project I would honestly kill myself after that.

I've also been evaluating it for about six months now and it kept f***ing up until eventually it stopped working all together. So my impressions?

Not if you're upgrading from Vista which currently comes pre installed on any new non-linux, non-mac laptop

My pc is running Vista and I will wait for my disc to arrive. If it requires a full install I will need to partition the c drive first and shunt everything so it doesn't get wiped.

No, but no one recomends just upgrading an operating system, fresh installs the way to go, oh and i downloaded the evaluation copy, very good, big improvement over vista, what vista should have been to be honest, i play games on my PC so not daft enough to use a MAC, if i was going to use something else it would be Ubuntu anyway
