Well said that man, We are shit. If people think because we won today 3-0 and only 3-0, and only because they had a man sent off, that we are on our way then they should wake up and smell the coffee, we was f***ing shit.

We'll be coming home after the next match.

Good grief some of you make Victor Meldrew sound cheerful. We lost to France because we're rubbish, we beat a competent Swiss team 3-0 and because we didn't play like Brazil 1970 we're rubbish. Yes, ok, we may not be the greatest team ever and we probably won't win Euro 2000 but come on! Enjoy it while you can and just be thankful you're not Scottish.

Also I really cannot believe there are people seriously calling for Sven to be sacked. Yes he makes mistakes but as someone else said remember Keegan, remember Taylor; we DO look like Brazil 1970 compared to their teams. Also I'm old enough to remember the 70s when we were REALLY dire for a whole decade and failed to qualify for the 74 and 78 World Cups. Sven is arguably the greatest manager we've ever had - including Ramsey.

Agree Brovian - I would guess a lot of the complainers are under 25 and never seen real dire England performances (Even the thought of Graham Taylor as England manager gives me nightmares)

This tournament we have been solid at the back but unspectacular up front which is precisely how Germany got to the World Cup Final two years ago.

Owen is startng to worry me though, It be a bold move but i would not be dissapointed to see Vassell start in his place

Victor Meldrew it is then as I cannot enjoy the sort of football we played yesterday. I can accept that my club team can play shite because of the all the constraints on us. I find it hard to watch my National team and smile as they play like a Conference team until the other team are down to 10 men and we've scored a lucky goal.

I'm in the minority here obviously so I am going to try and shut it and say no more about England during this tournament. Sorry to have pissed you all off with my negativity
