seeing as he has now bagged 3 in 3 (+ won a penalty) , surely there is a case that Robbo should be given a chance in the same way that McPhee has been.

Virgs + Robinson up front
Hart + Leon on the wings

Food for thought surely

And what have you done with McCammon?

Well, it depends whether McGhee is going to stick with playing two big men up front including one who is clearly not match fit and is extremely ring rusty. The first team is not the palce to regain fitness, that's what the reserves are for.

Hopefully Virgo can come back in to support McCammon more because McPhee isn't cutting it (not his fault).

I'd love to see Jakey back and getting a chance but with the tactics that McGhee is playing he's better off scoring for fun at Aldershot.

Warming the bench ! ? Maybe not my opinion but McCammon should not assume he is guarenteed to start every game

I think if Leon was to get injured then Jakey would get into the team. I also think part of the reason sending him out on loan is to get him match fit and help bulk his muscles up a bit.

Agreed, there don't seem to be too many reserve games and they're fairly meaningless. Giving Jakey some experience in competative games for a side doing well is great stuff. :clap2:

I don't think his chance will come this season now, but I think Mcghee will be giving him a good run out in Pre-season and he will be ready for Championship fooball next season.

We should give a new contract I think, current one expires at the end of next season. If he's playing and does well he'll be snapped up.

If we are safe, what is the point of recalling him to play in what are essentially going to be dead rubbers. Surely leaving him at Aldershot for the rest of the season, where he is guaranteed to start and play in potentially important games as the Shots are looking to get into the play offs will be better for his development, than playing in a few meaningless end of season games.

OK they are at a higher level, but the chances are he will get the odd 30 minutes here and there. By staying at Aldershot he is going to get full games and these are likely to be highly competitive, which can only be good for his long term development.

Also even once we are safe, I cannot really see the management changing the team all that much as they surely will want to finish as high as possible.

I agree with a lot of that UB, but if we can give him 3-4 games at the end of the season and at least 30 minutes per game, it will be good for him to try himself at the next level up.

It may be dead for us (nice position to be in), but may not be so for the teams we are playing against, so there could still be some bite to the games.

I would like to see him have a few run-outs in the stripes before next season, even if it just lets him know that he's in MM's plans.
