I am unable to view any search engines.

You've almost certainly got a browser hijacker that stops you from being able to Google on how to remove it

Go to (this is from memory) c:\windows\system32\drivers and open the file hosts . It has no ending. Clear all entries but 127.0.0.1 localhost, especially those for google.com, etc

Then go get Mozilla Firefox, http://www.mozilla.org. Put down the IE and step away from the browser... use Mozilla instead, much safer.

Thanks for that MYOB cannot find the file though, found a sample one in a sub-directory of the one you said. ANy other ideas?

Cool seems to have done the trick, though is seems to be slower then IE

It speeds up. IE has a lot of stuff cached, Firefox will start building up a cache as you surf. Its faster than IE when thats happened, and way, way more secure.
