2 Seasons ago we were unbeatable at home and OK away from home. We also lost 4-0 to brentford and 3-0 to wigan and still won the league by a confortable margin.

Ok so last night we were shit but most of out main rivals cocked up as well.

Everyone stop panicking, no booker isnt the man forthe job but dont slate him cause hes still gonna be there whatever.

We will win easily on Saturday to consolidate out 1st place so everyone jusr chill!!

AND Reading lost in front of 10,000 fans.

You mean that massive club only drew 10,000 after 2 consecutive wins under a new:tosser: manager?

He won't be there long:tosser:

All digs at Coppout aside-that is pretty pathetic support.

Excellent result though
:lolol:

Do you really think that we will beat Stockport "easily" after last night's woeful performance. I am not so sure. The heart seems to have been torn from the team and I suspect that it's going to take some while yet before things settle down. Saturday will certainly be no walkover.

:(

10,000 at reading?! Wilts defended the 13,000 for Coppells first match...Wilts...any comments on that?

I think its a disgrace for a team supposedly challenging for Prem status after 2 wins on the trot with new manager...shocking ???

As a bit of straw-clutching that's fine. As a prediction and/or a source of comfort I'm afraid it's utter rubbish. Looking at what happened three seasons ago means nothing today. Last season we won our opening fixture 3-1 away in small Lancashire town full of rascists. We were 3-0 up and gave away a late consolation. Exactly the same thing happened this season but we didn't go on to lose 12 on the trot.

Its not a prediction its putting things into perspective. We lost last night. So what? look at the bigger picture. We may not go up as champions but I am confident that we will be there or there abouts

The problem with these defeats which do not even match up to Championship Season Div 2 are that:

a) They were unexpected and out of the blue. They were big defeats but we were shocked they happened as they were against the run of results we were having during the season. They were in isolation.

b) We had a manager during those results who led us on to the Div 2 Champ. We have just lost a manager and there is uncertainty in the squad. It always happens and has an effect on even our strong bunch of players.

These are causes for concern. A team at the top shouldn't roll over like that two consecutive games. Maybe one, once in a while or even a narrow battling performance but not huge defeats like these.

1-0 tp Bpurnemouth isn't a huge defeat

Luton lost 6-3 last night to Bournemouth - that's a huge defeat

Huh? Do you want to try that again in something that resembles English?

Fair point Wattie, in our first-ever game in our first-ever season in the old division 2 we lost 9-0 to Middlesborough - and still finished above them!

My only concern is the defeats last time were just blips, it was basically a sound, well-managed team having a few funny turns. This time ..... well I'm not so sure. I hope you're right though!
