We've seen him play hardly any football, and he's bagged twice. I don't understand the hate for him? Or is it just the same people who boo off a team top of the league? ???

i think he is not **** at all, personally from the little he has played he shows great promise. remember just how long murray took to get 100% fit after his double hernia.

i don't. i think he is a decent striker who gives 100% and is clearly not yet fit.

Haven't wrote him off yet and you can't complain after playing just about 35 mins of football with 2 goals, he may miss a fair few but on Saturday none of our other strikers were even getting in the position to score so, if 1 in 3 goes in i'll be happy.

Doesn't look great on the ball but willing to give him some time as clearly not 100% yet.

Could be a good poacher in the six yard box.

That's the reason Gus said he bought him here, but that's the point, he's not, is he? He has the ability to not know where the goal is from 3 yards, 5 yards, 6, 10 or even 18 yards. I would love to see him turn into a great striker, but so far he has been 80% turd.

nature of a lot of football fans - it's a game of opinions, I pay my money blah blah blah

people love to sound like they know what they're talking about and the easiest/laziest way to do that (or think they are doing that) is to say someone/thing is shit

I will reserve judgement till fully fit etc. but he did appear to run around like a headless chicken when I have seen him.

2 goals in a few sub appearances when only just back from injury...yes utter turd. :wozza:

After that dive at Plymouth, I wrote him off. He cant shoot, head, pass or dribbe, but to be fair, from half a yard, and off his shins, he is deadly.

Not writing him off, but he isnt that great a player, but a finisher he maybe. Gus even said he wasnt that good, but put him in the box and he will finish

I honestly don't know what to make of him. The times I have seen him he doesn't inspire me in his playing...but two goals in his limited time on the pitch says otherwise. If he's crap but lucky so be it...better than crap and unlucky!

I think if he can do nothing except score, he could be a perfect partner for Murray, who does everything else.

I reckon the fact that he's Spanish might lead to people to have unrealistic expectations of him.
He did alright on Saturday.

I think he's the sort of player who could get us out of this division (in the right direction). He might get found out in the Championship though. Personally, I like the effort he's put in, despite not being match fit, and he's scored a couple of goals so I'm happy with him.
