Also spoke to another Yank (old boy in his 70's) who asked in all seriousness if we had any fresh fruit or vegetables in England!
He was over in the war when there was rationing and thought nothing would have changed! - had to explain that we also had computers, TV's etc - he was genuinly gobsmacked that things had actually changed in the las 60 years!
