Whose post count surprises you?

It never ceases to amaze me. I'm perusing a random thread and something catches my eye. I scan right to see the name of the poster. "Not heard of him (because, let's face it, it probably will be a him) before", I think to myself.

My eyes drop slightly and the poster has made 3 or 4 thousand posts. And I've never heard of them. Or so I think.

So whose post count surprises you?

There's the inverse to what I say as well. There are some people that I seem to feel very familiar with and they turn out to have only a couple of hundred posts.

I think it all comes down to how many they post on, say the word ass. game, and how much they contribute to meaningful threads.

Why sad? What's more sad? Someone who watches every soap opera or someone who chooses to spend their time on the internet instead.

I cannot afford to go out every night and only go to pub in connection with football.
I enjoy message boards and make no apology for that.

Why sad? What's more sad? Someone who watches every soap opera or someone who chooses to spend their time on the internet instead.

i would say someone watching every soap opera is worse but not by a massive amount. there are better things to do with your time than watching tv and posting on the internet that doesn't cost you anything and by the looks of things you both seem to seem to chose the latter. but i'm not here to criticise. each to their own.
