having lived in scotland for 15 years I get really pissed off by the anti-english behaviour. Its not funny, and it shows how small minded and petty the scots can be.

the usual line is "oh we hate the way the media always say that england are going to win it". Whilst the media do go a tad over the top, the scottish media is just as guilty ie after the first leg of the play offs against holland.

Very easy to take the piss out of another country when your own country has absolutely no chance of ever doing well.

I couldn't be more opposite to the original post. I always look out for Wales, Scotland, N.Ireland and Rep.Ireland results and want them to do well. The only time I wouldn't would be if we were playing them. I really can't understand why seeing Scotland lose should please me in any way.

I agree with Rangdo, i mean during the Olympics we're cheering the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish athletes, so why when it comes to the football is there so much hatred? I think it's fantastic to see the Welsh, Irish or Scottish in major championships!
