I really think Virgo should play there. It is his natural position and perhaps try Molango up front again.

Crap. Go back to the Wolves thread the other night and you will see I blame him for the goal. I took issue with your criticism of his passing, not of his defensive play, where I've always argued that Harding is a better option. Just because you might not like one aspect of a player's contribution, it is foolhardy to say that everything he does is rubbish. You fall into exactly that same trap with Oatway, where your dislike of his passing means, for you, that he is not a good ball-winner. That is where we disagree about Charlie.

Actually, LI, re-read my message, and you will see that I recognise that Mayo's distribution was better then he normally manages (just)... of course, Harding's distribution is far better than Mayo's... oh, and by the way, if that is one of the best full-back passing displays you have ever seen, then you can't have seen many games!!...

Also, I have NEVER criticised Charlie's ball-winning ability... the problem is that, once he's won it, he tends to make a poor pass and give it away... which you just can't afford to do in The Championship...

So, your criticism of me (backed up by Yorkie, as usual) is totally unjustified...

It is so easy for people to say Kerry is rubbish. The same people also moan about Oatway.
As you say LI there are many aspects to a players game but people just like to spout.
We have had several good quality managers at this club and all of them have selected Kerry & Charlie.

In fact the official site says he is favourite to go in the centre with Harding on the right.

IF MM picks Mayo to play in the centre, and he (MM) doesn't switch to 5-3-2, then we will be far more likely to concede, IMHO... why play Mayo in the centre, when we have a better / natural central defender in Hinsh, and a better / natural central defender in Virgo (with McPhee to come in up-front)?... indeed, why play him at all, when Harding can play at full-back?...

Oh, and I think you will find that both Taylor and Coppell found replacements for Oatway (Lewis and Rodger / Sidwell respectively)... Coppell, in particular, made sure that Oatway played only a bit part last time we were at this level... and quite right too, IMHO... Oatway just cannot pass the ball well enough...

There, I've finnished "spouting" now...

Utter bollox... Danny shouted at Mayo not Kuipers for MAYO's mistake for the goal...

so if the ball is in the air in our own 6 yard box you dont want our keeper to claim it? must be the only person in country that thinks that

Kuipers

El'Abd Cullip Hinshelwood Harding

Currie Carpenter Virgo Nicholas

McGhee Hart

Mayo Knight Robinson Hammond Jarrett

No reserve keeper

Carpenter to return with his extra mobility and height and he has the stamina to get back and cover so that El Abd can get forward if need be.

Gart Hart is put upfront because he presumed to understand the offside law better than Leon Knight.

Still lightweight upfront. Gary Hart envisaged to spend his time running off the ball instead of tracking back. Could put Jake Robinson in instead.

Is Nathan Jones fit?

???

PS: Stumpy Tim, you have no height in midfield. QPR will just lump it up in the air.

and Mayo's distribution was very poor (as always)...

now, I admit his short passing was slightly better than usual

Can anybody tell me if these two people are related at all? Distant cousins maybe?
