It is safe to say that if I had scooped the jackpot, I would not be at home making homemade pizza. I would in fact be drifting on a sailboat in the Pacific Ocean drinking a decent dark rum (Havana Club 7 yr old) before heading back to my hacienda on shore to harvest the peppers, chillis and what have you.
My ex-mother-in-law got five numbers up in the very first week of the lottery. She threw the ticket away because she thought you had to have all six. Fact.
I won just over £14 on Euromillions once. I was well excited when I got an email saying I'd won, and then less so when I saw how much. I'd got 10 tickets which was £15, so basically I was and am overall a Euromillions loser.
I was in a syndicate for a couple of years, we won a tenner pretty much every other week, saved them all up for rollovers and bunged the lot on...usually won a tenner back, but never managed to get more than three numbers on any draw.
We won about £40 in a syndicate of four the other week when the Euro one rolled over so re-invested it the following week when it rolled over again and won jack shit.
I think I got four numbers once in the main one and won around £30.
We do a lottery bingo at work and have won a few times around about £100 each time.
