The Bard would have been proud of you. Harry Hotspur was killed at the battle of Shrewsbury in 1403. Taking part in the battle that day was young Prince Hal, later to become Henry V.
When formed, by a group of schoolboys, the club was named Hotspur Football Club after the historical figure and then became Tottenham Hotspur.
