...says "Sussex" to you?

The views that say "I'm home!" The more obscure the better. The more gushing the prose, the more welcome it is!

Maybe its view of the Downs from Lewes?
Or the Ouse at Barcombe Mills
Or a stormy October afternoon on the breakwater at Brighton Marina?

Or a million other things?

As an East Saxon, I would be interested to hear the views of our friends from the West of God's own county - even if they don't really count :p

Way out west
The view from Chantry Post on top of the Downs above Storrington, looking down on the village and across the Weald, always makes me feel warm inside and reminds me how green and pleasant England (and that little corner of Sussex) really is.

Cissbury Ring, Mount Caburn, Battle, Chichester, Brighton, Cuckmere Haven and the villages in the far east and far west of the great county called Sussex.

+ a few more!

After a couple of weeks away, driving down from the top of King George VI Avenue on a sunny day with the sea glistening in the distance. Marvellous!
