Travelling back from the ground with Krispies, I was struck by the fact that he seemed down in the dumps because of what he perceived as a quiet Albion crowd. He'd been in the Lower Tier.

In contrast, my judgement - from where I was in the Uppity Tier - it seemed like the singers and chanters were out in force.

How was it for you?

"I'd just like to say well done to all the brighton fans who traveled up today, they were fantastic. They sang all game, even when they knew it was over, and they completely embarassed us support wise.

Could open a can of worms about how spoilt some of our fans act, but when teams & fans like brighton have to goto league 1 games week in week out it makes you realise that really we aint as hard up as some people make out.

Anyway, absolutely fantasic showing from the albion. hope things get better for them, fans like that deserve it."

SCR and the only time he was in danger of being drowned out was when some cockney next to him was trying to give someone directions on a mobile.

sitting in the west ham end and the mighty albion fans were all I could hear. Tried to make the atmosphere shame the other lot didn't respond

I was in the lower tier, and compared to Reading away last year, we were shite!

I already knew the Upper Tier would be rocketing with a similarity of Reading last year, and I felt gutted I couldn't be in there.

I thought the Albion contingent were very good. The Hammers around me (Dr Martens nr the Albion lot) seemed to be very edgy and relieved to score the first. I was surprised to see so many leave early, you think any victory would be worth savouring.

Nothing special though, I always thought the West Ham fans were meant to be up there with the best ???

No space on the poll for us 'Home Enders', Lord B? :jester:

No option for Bobby Moore Stand Lower, good noise in first half quieter in second - no much variation in songs though - did like the "do you ever sing a song" or whatever it was, cant quite remember.

West Ham fans - worst support I ever seen - Bubbles when the teams came out was the only time there was an atmosphere, other 90 minutes resembled the moon

Lower tier for me,right towards the chicken run end....ok noise wise, but nothing special.I've eperienced better "away end" atmospheres at other games with a lot less fans.

In the front row with my brother and Beachy.

Not a great view generally, but great when the action was down our end.

Only completely rubbish bit about the day was our feet being in half an inch of water thoughout the game.

The steward told us we were in the "lucky seats" - he was right.

Disgraceful - I go to a football match and my feet get wet.

A few left early, oh well that was there game for the season.

Left side, lower tier. Good noise throughout the game. My mate at the other end said it was quiet there though.
