He is a lot like Gerrard. He works hard for 90 mins, can tackl, can score goals, can pass, and can run at players so I think he will. Anyway I feel the only way to know is to give him a chance, and by that I mean more than 15 mins Mr Eriksson.

Parker certainly deserves a place in the squad. But I don't think he'll ever displace Gerrard as first choice.
