I have to ask, what type of emergency requires frozen urine samples ? Jellyfish rash ?

More of a fallback when I have forgotten a hospital appointment. I can just defrost one to give to the docs/nurses at short notice, rather than have to find a suitable container and produce pee on demand. See below…..

Upstairs fridge freezer:
Bottle of vodka
Shop bought frozen blueberries, strawberries, mango, pineapple and raspberries
Green beans
Peas
Corn
Veggie Ground
Mince Meat

Basement Chest Freezer:
Squid from a friend’s fishing trip
Foraged blueberries
Moose meat hunted by a pal
Chicken breasts
Couple of cod
Salmon
Various frozen veg from the garden and the shop
Frozen pizza

Pop them in the oven 5 minutes before the rest of your meal is ready. No need to prepare the mix and pour into the little cake tin and cook for 25 minutes. And you only need to cook the number you need.

Looking for inspiration, as I have no idea what I should be putting in my freezer.

At the moment, all I've got in there is some emergency chips (which are probably well out of date by now) and a few tubs of ice.

Frozen food is all a bit rubbish right? And freezing fresh stuff just ruins it. I kind of get the impression that the freezer is a bit of a relic from the past, before buying fresh food was so convenient.

What's in your freezer?

I do cook ups, at the moment I have about (serves) 8 lasagnes, 5 stews, 5 meatballs and a couple of chilli con carne
