Rubbish tips did you mean?

People didn't understand that he was looking for value rather than predicting what would actually happen ie. not backing Man U to win every week but backing someone against them who he didn't think would win at all, but had a better chance than the odds suggested. Or, simply looking for bookies odd prices on things like half time/full time, where the odds were higher than the average chance of that happening.

It wasn't the kind of bet you were going to win every week but it's the only way to make money off the bookies.

So, in a nutshell. You have to back the team you think will lose because they represent value. If you do this enough times you will be wrong so often you will win in the long run:D
