I appluad the board (well the blooms anyway) for appearing to splashing the cash during the transfer window, although it now transpires we've recouped more than we've outlayed. However, I have more than a few concerns. We've now got an overdose of strikers and no winger of any constistency to deliver a ball to them. We've also got a team that I'm not convinced want to play for Wilkins, I think he's lost the dressing room as McGhee did. We're on a downward spiral as far as results are going and we're not creating chances. The problem lies with the tactics and formation we're playing, that issue lays squarely on the shoulders of Wilkins and White. I can see that if results in the next few weeks don't go our way, plus the player exodus, could see a fans revolt calling for Wilkins head and also Knights. This month is going to be interesting for Albion fans and will show the true ambition of the board.

Overdose of strikers?

Before the window opened we had Forster, Bas, Elder and Revell in the first team squad. We let Bas go when it became clear we would not be able to meet his demands for wages, we sold Revell and Elder for decent profits. We've got in Murray and Dixon. So we've still got one less striker than we had before xmas but still this is too many? Sure we have Robinson and Gatting but Robinson has mainly be used as a winger and Gatting hasn't really been anywhere near the squad for most of the season.

Agree we do need a winger/creative player to sign in the next 3 and a half hours and results haven't gone well over the last month or so but then Wilkins has tried to address that and has made signings he clearly thinks are going to change things or the players wouldn't have been signed.

How would a club that has a manager thats lost the dressing room sign what is effectively 6 players in the transfer window, 2 of those returning to the club for a second loan spell.

Sometimes I get the feeling people are so keen to rant against the manager/board they never actually looking at the facts before they start typing.

If you don't like it, f*** off and support someone else.
yep about right

why the f*** has wilkins lost the dressing room?

to me there seems to be some sort of a witch hunt against deano who i think has done a decent job at building a team which through no thought of his own has been ripped apart but he is trying to build it up again and apart from being short in midfield at the moment he seems to be doing ok.

the players seem to stick togeather and scoring quite a few late goals which suggest's they are quite fit which should bold well for later in the season,if he had lost the dressing room the would be giving up in games and not scorin late goals in numerous games through the season
