On the subject of greatest goals you've ever scored, what youth team did you play for?

I was a Cuckfield Cosmos boy through and through since I was 8, which would have been 1992. We had some team especially when around 12/13/14- then we lost a few players and got relegated, came straight back up though winning every game by about an average of 10 goals! Had a soft spot for Bevendean Barcelona in that league though cos they wore an old Brighton strip as their kit!

Those were the days, not a care in the world apart from your result every Sunday :)

:lolol: i remember playing in whitehawek once, and as our right winger left their left back for dead on the touchline and went to put in a cross, one of the mums on the sideline stuck out a leg and tripped him up!! the referee didnt no what the f*** to do but in the end gave us a free kick and sent the mum away from the pitch! :lolol:

Angmering Athletic was my team, we were more succesful at 6-a-side winning the Under 14s league at Worthing Tech in '72. Big rivals were Allington (sp?)

We also beat the Chelsea side one pre-season (I was on my hols at the time tho')

My favourite Bev Barca moment was when we had had a couple of particularly bad tempered games with them when we were about 15 and at half-time in one the ref dissapeared, apparently after being threatened by a couple of their dads. But luckily one of their dads was a qualified ref who had brought his kit along on the off chance. which was nice!

Can't remember who I played for... it was so long ago. Remember training in the back of the bowling alley in the winter and playing in Hove...... we weren't very good but got player of the year for keeping any clean sheets at all..... may explain why I won it again in Poland four years ago in the Warsaw league!!! :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Favourite moments were any games against Hollinbury Hawks.

You could compare it to Celtic v Rangers

Did you play for the legendary Footit(sp) team?
