For us to be struggling a bit in the Champoinship, or to be f***ing around in the shitty League 1??

i no for sure that i would much rather be going around all the big clubs, wicked stadiums, great atmosphere seeing premiership class players and generally living it up. Not to be visiting Yeovil and Torquay and f***ing around trying to scrape out a result with the long ball game and shitty grounds.

Yeah we have had a bad start but why dont all the people who keep f***ing moaning and picking the shit out of the team just f*** OFF, stay at home and listen to the game on the radio - your negativitly aint helping anyone.

=Also, if anyone says they'd rather us be in the League 1, i f***ing hope you weren't at Cardiff cheering the lads to glory!

With all due respect though a lot of the posters on here would come under my definition of a hard core supporter. Whilst valuable to the club it cannot survive just on the income from you lot and needs to make sure the floating supporters turn up.

Bottom of the championship won't do that. Not even a promotion chasing team hardly did it last season so I was hoping DK would have speculated a little more this preseason to give us a better stab at staying up and hopefully giving us crowds nearer to capacity.

struggling in Div1 rather than mediocre in Div 2

BUT . . .if memory serves me well, 2 years ago we actually played football and where making a good game of it against quality opposition

we wheren't doing that last year against mediocre opposition, which goes some way to explain why we're woefully inadequate at this level now ?

we seem to be hoping that the return of a few players will help, those players to return are the core of our old 3rd division side, not new better, keener players, now please correct me if I'm wrong, but arent replacement players brough to the club supposed to be better than the ones you'vealready got ?

:lolol: yeah appartently!

havent seen a great deal of that - i agree with Knight and Chippy back and Harret, Currie all up to speed, we will be a lot better - but a couple of "bigger name" signings would have gone a long way!

Although the away games should be harder for us - i think we have more chance in them as we have fantastic away support and the noise we make is awsome - cant say the same for withdean!

Bottom of Champ over League 1 anytime!

Agree with you zef - under Coppell we played some cracking football and at least got some wonderful performances out of players such as Kerry. Why can't these players with the benefit of previous Div 1 experience not perform now, when we know they can?

I'm not convinced that our performances are down simply to injuries and not having better players - tactics, playing people out of position and not getting the best out of what we've got are all important. And I can't see how anyone thinks McGhee is doing this.
