What to do with Virgo?

Presuming Hammond keeps his place in midfield and Hinshelwood keeps his place at right back what will happen to Virgo when McPhee gets back?

Keep him upfront until we can (hopefully) get in a recognised centre-forward. Hinsh is a better rb anyway

bring in striker, keep hinsh at right back then he can be cover for butters and cullip

Keep him up front and encourage that lazy git Knight to work a bit harder.

The one time Knight fought for the ball he got it back - should try harder.

If anyone can turn Virgo into a battering-ram centre-forward, its McGhee. Keep him up front. Train the lad.

Then play him at centre half with Cullip, with special responsibility for going up for corners and if we are losing near the end.

Except Butters was once again our best defender today, as he has been in most our games. Cullip does not look comfortable playing with Kuipers and Nicolas, communication poor.

I just think Roberts is the more commanding keeper and it even showed today with some very indecisive defending at times. We were a bit lucky to hang on, but we deserve some luck at last.

thats why i think roberts seems to do less in games, heis organisation of our defence is first class
