I emailed a guy at a national newspaper today to see if he'd be interested in doing a piece on the Wickes business. He's written back wanting more details and saying he is very interested.
Obviously, he can get the details himself as they're already out, but after the request from the club today, what should i do?

It'll be old news by the time he gets it. See another thread showing how this issue has already been covered

He doesn't do small areticles, but lengthy investigative features on a weekly basis, so it's not about it being "breaking news".

go 4 it. after all it should only be the facts he's interested in, so in truth u are only planting the seed. the club can't tell us what to think and do, its freedom of speech which many have died for. with the rumours of fl coming down hard on the club re; web-site item, perhaps its time for a proper piece of investigative journalism to put an end to this crocks involvement in our game

Give the guy the background he needs - he can then tie it in with the Labour Conference, John Prescott and the whole three-ring circus of the Falmer Inquiry. All part of the same story anyway.

It was an Argus exclusive yesterday so no doubt they will provide the details he needs.

Did seem odd that the club announced it after a quiet chat.

Horse has bolted now though.
