Differently this season?

How could it have been better?

For me the contracts should have been sorted much earlier, Players should have been signed earlier when there was some decent free's out there.
Mcghee should have been let go pre season as well as he was never going to turn it around in the eyes of some fans.

Mcghee should off gone after the Stoke game.Wilkins should of been a number 2 and we should of brought in a new manager and given him all pre season to bring in new players.

Aim was to stay up, we did it so mission accomplished. Next season now rests on the Falmer decision I guess?

The McGhee saga was a cock up by the board and could have been handled much better. DW has shown he can get players in, next season will show if he can actually manage well enough to improve on this year, which it must be said has had some real lows and few highs.

DK Should have signed a decent striker during the summer, allowing for better results, a play off challenge, and therefore better crowds which would have self financed the striker.

Having not done that, the season was always set to be a struggle regardless of who the manager was.

This was the crux of the problem this year I think, It should ahve been sorted earlier one way or another.

We should'nt have f***ed about last summer with the shall we keep McGhee or not situation it was stupid and a big black mark against Dick Knight in my eyes. It left us trailing behind other clubs and in reality we never recovered from it.

In the same way as he delayed appointing a replacement for Peter Taylor until the death and then gave it to Hinshelwood one week before the start of the season, thus giving no time to prepare for the season or buy any players. Total disaster followed by the same last close season.

The sad thing is it will happen again, contracts should already be sorted, there has been nothing to play for for the past few weeks.

Alot of clubs haven't released players or done new contracts etc.No big deal really

We shouldn't have agreed to Errea supplying us with huge "comedy" shorts that come down below the players knees :nono:

Listening to Wilkins on the radio earlier I think it has been sorted but the players wont know until they get back from their mini break, 7 - 10 days and it'll be sorted is what he was saying. At least it's many steps ahead of where we were last summer.

Too right. Let's see how they perform on the piss. That's the true mark of the modern footballer. If Hart and Kuipers can get a spit roast going they may have the chance of a renewed contract. Kerry Mayo will be chucking down the kebabs Gascgoine style and Doug Loft will be on a career saving binge of monstrous proportions.

Too right! any player who can pass a piss in a straight line has got to be worth a new contract and if Kuipers can launch a vomit too one of his own players then he must be here next season. :drink: :drink: :drink:

We should have won more games!

Correction, we should not of lost so many home games.

Our away form was that of a promotion team, which proves we are not a bad team and can compete with anybody in this league, but why could we not reproduce the same at home?

If we did we would of been promoted!
