I buy lots of dvds. Mainly from charity shops or WOB. The problem with the streaming is they change what they have, you have to keep paying, and the selection is pretty poor. If you want to watch a specific ( and arty, foreign etc) film you need dvds. If you want to watch a crap version of that film starring a less good actor you've got streaming

Another thing, the streamers or Disney etc change/take out scenes and dialog, to 'change with the times' too.

So you're never guarantied to have the original version on a streaming platform.

I keep a few dvds.

Stuff that I’ve worked on and some rarer foreign language stuff. And Northern Exposure that wasn’t on streaming until a few weeks ago.
Still got a dvd player in the cabinet that comes out now and again.

I’d say I have about 20 dvds.

And I didn’t throw my I wanted ones in the bin. I gave them to neighbours.
Well, I posted them through their letterboxes late at night.
