On the Millwall Message Board MISA (Millwall Independant Message Board) it is fun to see what they think of Withdean see quote below:

dartford wrote:
They should have got that black reporter from the Sun or the Voice or whatever, at the game yesterday. Who knows what he would have made of it, not only the Sieg Heil chants which he already knows about, but half the crowd in pointy white hoods as well...

You're right...It was like a KKK Konvention "

Most of them were saying they would never come here again. Also on the board they have a section called "Come and have a go" which is for abuse from away supporters"

Honestly, I miss a game & the sodding WHITE SUPREMACISTS take over! If it happens again, I'm gonna start supporting a nice principled, family club. Like Millwall. :whistle:

"If a team playing in that shit tip won the Conference, do you think there is any way on God's green earth that the FA would allow them into the league? Not a chance and yet, because the media love Brighton and see them as some kind of cause celebre, nothing is ever made of the fact they've been taking the piss for years with that ground. If we'd have been playing there for as long as they have, the FA would have chucked us out of the league years ago. I know it isn't their fault, and they were badly wronged by Archer and Bellotti years back, but other clubs (most notably Wrexham and Rotherham) have suffered similar treatment from unscrupulous chairmen with about a trillionth of the media coverage that these attention seekers have received. Oh yeah, I forgot, 20,000 new people are going to magically appear as soon as they get a new ground, aren't they? I knew there was a reason why they were seen as a special case.

Their 3rd was my cue to do one yesterday. My jeans were holding about half a stone of water by the time I got back to the station. The most miserable away day since relegation at Ipswich for me"

To paraphrase Millwor's chant "No one likes it and we don't care". If they went home very very wet and very pissed off at being played off the park: Job Done.

Yes but the point was the KKK thing if you remember us at New Den about three years ago.

The much-bigger-and-more-successful (well, not much lately) Man City fans were far more understanding and patient about Withdean. Many seemed to know about archer (filthy nonce) and bellotti (arse flogging queer) as well, which is amazing really.

Then you get a bellyload of larfs like them millwall lundunazz innit, and they mope in one visit about the place we have had to put up with for yonks!

Taking the Brighton blinkers off, there's an awful lot there to agree with.

We're getting SLATED on the EnglandFans forum too by a number of fans, apparently we shoud be on a transfer embargo until we spend money on upgrading Withdean to have roofs as its a Health and Safety hazard to sit in the rain for that long without a roof.....

Funny, I always think, how away fans' perceptions of Withdean seems to be in indirect proportion to the success of their teams on the pitch.

E=(a-b)/w

where E (enjoyment) is equal to the score (where A=away team score, B=Brighton score) divided by W (weather, arrived at by multiplying the number of hours sunshine during the game period by the rainfall in millimetres, and dividing that by the mean temperature in degrees Celsius)
