What is it with John Piercy ?

I haven't seen a lot of him - I doubt anyone has! But several on NSC sing his praises and call for his inclusion.

What's wrong with him that Coppell doesn't use him ? or is he just not all that ?

What about Pitcher? Is he just a non-league player we've been lumbered with who is constantly on loan?

It seems he has an attitude problem mmmm!
Couple mates see him as a sub at spurs and said he is quality and i feel once he gets a grip he will be quality.:lolol: :lolol:

If he is as good as some say and he still can't get a game when we have the least creative midfield I can remember (even in Div 3 we had Minton), his future doesn't look too bright.

Even Codner got games and he had one hell of an attitude!

In London village.
I thought the problem was that he is recovering from a serious illness.

I saw him a few times a Spurs and think he definitely has ability. He was certainly just about the only player at Colchester who seemed to know how to control, move with and pass the ball.

As someone said, it's a make or break year for Piercy. Our midfield at the moment is all graft and no real quality. 'If' ( ? ) Piercy is as good as people say, then surely he must get his chance soon. The few times I've seen him as sub and for the reserves though, he's hardly set the World on fire! Maybe I caught him on bad days?

I trust Steve coppells judgement on a player though. If there are doubts over his weight, fitness, and attitude then I doubt many managers would pick a player with those conditions.

Going out getting drunk does not endear him to Mr Coppell. If he did sharpen up his act and got his fitness up, he would be an asset.

From the few sub appearances that he has made which I have seen, he has not really impressed me. That said it is difficult to really make a decision based on the odd 10 minutes there and 15 minutes here. But if he played at Colchester as well it sounded he played on the radio then I am sure he will get his chance this season.

Anyone but Charlie... we need more creativity in the middle of the park... end of story... those at the Cheaterfield game will know this makes sense...
