What clubs voted for us to be kicked out of the league back in 1997? The league took a vote after we didn't pay a loan to them, yet this whole Hereford re-run seems to have been airbrushed from history. I can remember being more nervous waiting for the results of that vote than during the build up to Hereford. I think I made a list of the 20 odd clubs who voted against us but i'll be buggered if I can find it now. Can only remember that Barry Hearn DIDN'T vote for us to be kicked out.

Was Southampton one of them?

I seem to remember at the pre- season friendly just after the vote we were chanting "if you all hate Southampton clap your hands"

Might be wrong though.
