What did the kit look like in the 1950's

i have bought a 'retro' Brighton shirt on eBay. The logo on the shirt looks a bit naff but maybe it really did look like that.

Anyone got a picture please?

Depends what year in the '50s innit.

I believe it was blue with white sleeves for a while, in a Millwall stylee.

Guess that's the one you have?

Check out www.toffs.com They're the retro shirt company and have a pretty good selection of Albion shirts thru the ages on there.

Recently bought the 70's top (first one you see) Very comfortable, warm and well made. Much better than the polyester crap on sale at the moment.

The images are not great, and i don't have the original drawings anymore! Took ages to make them all, but all the files got lost when i got a new computer!

There is also away kits from about the 70's onwards...

Thanks, it looks like the one from 57-58, although the one on Toffs, is a bit different- unfortunately on mine the 'brighton and hove albion' looks like it has been sewn on by hand by someones miopic grandmother.

................and all because the new colours don't suit me -lol
