Michael Ballack out of World Cup...

Oh well, he's only got himself to blame, if he hadn't slapped Boateng round the chops just moments before his injury then the tackle would never of happened...

Or the ref could have grown some balls and sent Ballack off before the injury as the law states raising your hand and putting it in someone elses face should be a red card!

Excellent news. If we were any other country for the last three months of the season we would have been targeting the likes of old Bollock to get them interested and out of the world cup. Stuart Pearce would have done it in his day.

Ballack is an arrogant twat, so I appreciate the bias, BUT no way on earth was Ballack's a red card. Boateng's however was a nasty tackle.

I imagine that ruling Ballack out of the WC, less than a week after switching his nationality FROM German to play for Ghana at the WC himself, that the PRINCE is probably not the most popular bloke in Germany right now...

don't like the bloke really and anything that causes inconvenience to the german cause can only be viewed as positive IMHO.

It's his brother Jerome that's playing for Germany isn't it? Kevin will possibly be playing Germany and his brother in the group stages

a head's up from the office of flair trade, but GHANA are going to be a decent bet for "flairniacs of the tournament"

plus germany have BASTIAN.........plus in their group is AUSTRALIA and SERBIA, so it's going to be a right carnival o'flair

Glad that idiot with the shit name missed that penalty now. Showed what a nasty twat he is with that tackle which was pure retaliation. Missing the pen was Karma.

He really should be banned for a long time for what he did. We are not talking about a missed timed tackle , this was pure intent and the consequences are pretty devastating for Ballack and the Krauts

If we were German, the Sun would have put a price on the Prince's head by now

To claim that Ballack deserved it is ludicrous. An accidental slap round the chops does not warrant a vicious tackle like that. Boateng is **** of the highest order

I didn't say he deserved it, I said he brought it on himself with that slap around the chops, no matter how soft it was, the law states you cannot do it... How many times do you see players retaliate against someone who has just got up their nose, it's part of football and injuries do happen because of it, just ask Haaland or Keane for example...

Ballack has been shit for chelsea this year, his legs gave gone and i dont know how he gets in the side, hope he doesnt get a new contract to be honest.

Oh !!

Something we agree on.This probably enhances whatever chance the dreaded Hun have of winning the thing.

apart from the depressing inevitability of Germany qualifying this group will go down to wire - can't pick it myself although I reckon it's even harder for the Socceroos than 2006and there's no Gus Hiddink either.....
How is Essien going anybody?
